Barry Davis Architects, P.C. (BDA) is proud to announce the completion of one of many projects ongoing at the Tuskegee VA Medical Center. The replacement of three chillers, three towers, and the controls for Building 97 and 120 at the Center is the newest in a long line of past and future projects that Barry Davis Architects, P.C. has with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The $7,400,000 design brought about the installation of new magnetic bearing 480V chillers were introduced into the design to allow finer control and "turning down" when the plant has reduced demand. Temporary chillers and related equipment were planned with the phasing of the project to eliminate or minimize any impact on patients, staff, and facilities. SS&A was the mechanical consultant for this project.
As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), BDA will always be proud to do our part in serving our veterans and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
